1. About These Terms and Rolely

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rolely's websites, applications, browser extension, AI-powered tools, automation features, and other products and services that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Services").

The Services are provided by ROLELY LIMITED, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 17410059 ("Rolely", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement with us to use the Services.

If you are using Rolely on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Account information

When you create or maintain a Rolely account:

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• You must keep relevant account information up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
• You must not allow another person to use your account in a way that violates these Terms.
• You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorisation.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. The Rolely Service

Rolely provides tools designed to assist with career development, job searching, job applications, application materials, interview preparation, workflow management, and related activities.

Depending on availability, your location, and the features you use, the Services may include:

• Job search, saved jobs, and job-search workflow tools.
• Resume creation, editing, analysis, sharing, and export tools.
• Cover letter generation and related application-document tools.
• Job Match and other job or profile analysis features.
• Interview preparation and practice tools.
• Application tracking and workflow-management features.
• Profile and document import tools.
• AI-powered career assistance and generated content.
• AI Agents, Agent Rules, and automated or assisted workflows.
• Browser Extension functionality.
• Credits, purchases, Auto Top-Up, and related account features.
• Other features that we introduce or make available from time to time.

Specific features may change as Rolely develops. The availability of a particular feature may depend on your device, browser, location, account status, credit balance, third-party services, or other technical or operational factors.

4. Credits

How credits work

Rolely uses credits for certain features and workflows.

The number of credits required may vary depending on the feature or action being performed. Where applicable, the relevant credit cost will be displayed or otherwise made available through the Services.

Free and promotional credits

New accounts may receive free credits or other promotional credits.

The amount and availability of free or promotional credits may vary based on promotions, referrals, eligibility, security or risk controls, testing, location, or other circumstances.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, free or promotional credits:

• Have no cash value.
• Cannot be transferred or sold.
• Are not redeemable for cash.
• May be subject to additional promotional conditions.

Purchased credits

You may purchase additional credits where credit purchases are available.

Purchased credits:

• Are associated with the account through which they were purchased.
• Are not transferable between users unless Rolely expressly provides such functionality.
• Have no cash value outside the Services.
• May not be resold or exchanged for money.

Any applicable expiry or usage conditions will be disclosed to you where required before purchase.

5. Purchases, Pricing, and Payment

Prices for credit packs and other paid features are displayed through the Services before purchase.

You are responsible for reviewing the price, credit amount, currency, and other purchase information before confirming a transaction.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe. Your use of a payment provider may also be subject to that provider's applicable terms and privacy practices.

You authorise us and our payment providers to charge the payment method you select for purchases you approve.

Prices, available credit packs, supported currencies, payment methods, and the credit cost of particular features may change over time. Any new price or credit cost will apply prospectively and will be displayed or otherwise communicated where required before the relevant purchase or use.

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or similar charges applicable to your purchase where required by law.

6. Auto Top-Up

Rolely may offer an optional Auto Top-Up feature.

If you enable Auto Top-Up, you authorise Rolely and its payment provider to charge your selected or saved payment method and add credits to your account when the conditions you configure for Auto Top-Up are met.

Before enabling Auto Top-Up, the Services will display or make available the relevant configuration, including the applicable credit amount, price, or trigger where supported.

You can manage or disable Auto Top-Up through the available Credits or account settings.

Disabling Auto Top-Up prevents future Auto Top-Up transactions after the change takes effect, but it does not reverse a transaction that was already validly initiated before Auto Top-Up was disabled.

Auto Top-Up is a credit-purchasing feature and is not a subscription to Rolely.

7. Cancellations, Refunds, and Consumer Rights

Your rights in relation to cancellations, refunds, digital content, and digital services may depend on where you live and the circumstances of your purchase.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where applicable law gives you a right to cancel a purchase or receive a refund, we will honour that right.

Except where required by applicable law, expressly stated at the time of purchase, or appropriate because of a verified billing or technical error, purchases of credits that have been consumed or used through the Services are generally not refundable.

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or are legally entitled to a cancellation or refund, contact us through our contact page.

Where applicable law requires additional information, consent, acknowledgement, or other steps before digital content or services are supplied, those requirements apply in addition to these Terms.

8. Your Content

"Your Content" means information, files, documents, text, resumes, cover letters, profile information, instructions, prompts, application materials, and other content that you upload, import, create, submit, or otherwise provide through the Services.

You retain any ownership rights you have in Your Content.

You grant Rolely a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, process, analyse, transform, transmit, and display Your Content only to the extent reasonably necessary to:

• Provide and operate the Services.
• Perform actions or workflows you request.
• Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and support the Services.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our rights.

This licence does not transfer ownership of Your Content to Rolely.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide Your Content to Rolely and to instruct us to process it.

9. Rolely Intellectual Property

The Services, including Rolely's software, interfaces, designs, branding, technology, workflows, documentation, and other materials provided by us, are owned by or licensed to ROLELY LIMITED and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the Services for their intended purposes.

Except where permitted by law or expressly authorised by us, you must not:

• Copy or redistribute substantial parts of the Services.
• Sell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the Services.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code from the Services.
• Circumvent technical restrictions or security measures.
• Use Rolely's branding in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Rolely's intellectual property to you.

10. AI Features and Generated Content

Rolely includes features that use artificial intelligence and automated systems.

AI-generated or AI-assisted output may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or information that is inappropriate for your particular circumstances.

You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on, submitting, publishing, or otherwise using it.

In particular, you should review resumes, cover letters, application materials, Job Match results, interview materials, career guidance, and other generated content before using them.

Rolely does not guarantee:

• That AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.
• That an employer will accept or respond positively to generated content.
• That you will receive an interview or job offer.
• That Job Match or similar scores predict an employer's decision.
• Any particular employment, career, application, or interview outcome.

AI features are tools intended to assist your decision-making, not replace your own judgement.

11. AI Agents and Automated Actions

Rolely may provide AI Agents or other automated and agent-assisted workflows capable of performing actions based on your instructions, settings, permissions, approvals, or Agent Rules.

You are responsible for:

• Configuring agent permissions and rules appropriately.
• Reviewing information you provide to an agent.
• Reviewing actions that require your approval.
• Ensuring that actions you authorise are lawful and consistent with applicable third-party terms.

Agent-assisted workflows may depend on third-party websites, external systems, browser functionality, and information supplied by you.

Rolely may pause, limit, decline, or require additional approval for an automated action where reasonably necessary because of:

• Missing or ambiguous information.
• Safety or security checks.
• Technical limitations.
• Third-party restrictions.
• Required user approval.
• Suspected misuse.
• Legal or regulatory requirements.

AI Agents do not guarantee successful submission, delivery, acceptance, or any particular outcome from a third party.

12. Browser Extension and Third-Party Services

Rolely may provide a browser extension that interacts with supported websites and online services.

The extension may require browser permissions to provide its functionality.

Features such as autofill, application assistance, job capture, and agent-assisted actions may depend on the structure, availability, and functionality of third-party websites.

Third-party services are not controlled by Rolely, and their availability or functionality may change without notice to us.

You are responsible for reviewing information before it is submitted to a third-party service and for complying with any terms that apply to your use of that service.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies between you and the relevant third party.

Where an extension or third-party workflow uses a credit-consuming Rolely feature, the applicable credits may be deducted from your account.

13. Acceptable Use

You must use the Services lawfully and responsibly.

You must not use Rolely to:

• Submit fraudulent, unlawful, deceptive, or deliberately misleading information.
• Impersonate another person or falsely represent your identity, qualifications, experience, employment history, or authority.
• Violate another person's intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other legal rights.
• Distribute malware, malicious code, or other harmful material.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, networks, or data.
• Circumvent or interfere with security, authentication, rate limits, access controls, or other technical safeguards.
• Manipulate, exploit, or circumvent Rolely's billing or credit systems.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Services except where expressly authorised by Rolely or permitted by applicable law.
• Use Rolely to abuse, overload, disrupt, or interfere with a third-party platform or service.
• Use automated functionality in a manner prohibited by applicable law or by third-party terms that apply to you.
• Facilitate activity that is unlawful or intended to cause harm.

We may take reasonable steps to investigate suspected misuse and protect Rolely, our users, third parties, and the Services.

14. Shareable Content and Resume Links

Rolely may allow you to create links for sharing resumes or other content.

When you activate a shareable link:

• Anyone who obtains the active link may be able to access the content available through it.
• You are responsible for deciding what information to include in shared content.
• You should not include information that you do not want recipients of the link to see.
• You remain responsible for Your Content made available through the link.

Where the relevant controls are available, you may deactivate a shareable link through your account.

Deactivation prevents future access through that link after the change takes effect, but it cannot prevent someone from retaining information they accessed while the link was active.

15. Availability and Changes to the Services

We aim to provide reliable Services, but we do not guarantee that every feature will be available continuously or without interruption.

The Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, security events, third-party outages, technical problems, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Rolely may introduce, modify, improve, replace, or discontinue features as the Services evolve.

Where a change materially affects a paid service you have already purchased or materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice or an appropriate remedy where required by applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits statutory rights or remedies that apply to you.

16. Suspension and Termination

Closing your account

You may stop using Rolely at any time and may close your account using available account controls or by contacting us where necessary.

Suspension or termination by Rolely

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to some or all of the Services where reasonably necessary, including where:

• You materially or repeatedly violate these Terms.
• Your use creates a security or legal risk.
• We reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.
• Your activity threatens the Services, another user, or a third party.
• We are required to do so by law or a competent authority.
• Continued provision of the Services is no longer reasonably possible.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice before or promptly after suspension or termination.

Effect of termination

When your account is closed or terminated, your right to use the Services ends.

Certain provisions of these Terms that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect, including provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, disputes, and rights or obligations accrued before termination.

Any rights you have under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

17. Disclaimers

Rolely provides tools intended to assist with job searching, career development, application preparation, interview preparation, and related workflows.

We do not act as an employer, recruitment agency, or guarantor of employment unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service.

Job information, third-party data, AI output, analytics, recommendations, and automated results may contain errors or become outdated.

You are responsible for reviewing material information before acting on it.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that:

• The Services will always be available or uninterrupted.
• Every error or defect will be corrected immediately.
• Third-party job listings or services will remain available.
• AI or automated output will be error-free.
• Use of Rolely will result in employment, interviews, offers, or any other particular career outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights available to consumers.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rolely is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you entered into these Terms or that result from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If you use the Services primarily for business purposes, Rolely will not be liable, to the extent permitted by law, for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, anticipated savings, or indirect or consequential business losses.

If you use the Services as a consumer, nothing in this section limits liability in a way that would deprive you of rights or remedies provided by applicable consumer law.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to:

• The Services.
• Our business or operating practices.
• Applicable laws or regulatory requirements.
• Security, safety, or technical requirements.
• Features, payment functionality, or other aspects of Rolely.

When we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users where required or appropriate.

The updated Terms will state the date on which they were last updated.

Changes will apply prospectively from the effective date of the revised Terms unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If a change requires your express consent under applicable law, we will request that consent.

Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

20. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections available to you under the law of the country in which you live.

If you are a consumer, you may have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom or other country in which you live, and nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of any mandatory right to do so.

If you are not acting as a consumer, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Before beginning formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or, where necessary, treated as removed.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

22. No Waiver

If Rolely does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.

Any waiver of a right or provision is effective only to the extent expressly given.

23. Assignment

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without our prior consent where such consent is permitted to be required by applicable law.

We may transfer our rights or obligations under these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganisation, sale of business or assets, or similar transaction, or where reasonably necessary for the operation of the Services.

Any transfer by us will not reduce mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

Rolely Text Message Programs

Rolely text message programs are optional and currently available only to eligible U.S. mobile numbers. Account and application alerts and daily job alerts are separate programs. Selecting one does not enrol you in the other.

Message frequency varies for account and application alerts. Daily job alerts are limited to up to one message per day while your job alerts are active. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery is not guaranteed.

Reply STOP to opt out of all Rolely texts to that number. Reply HELP for help at admin@rolely.me. You can also change each program separately in Rolely Settings. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing or using Rolely.
